Control board for the charging station of the Automower®
Description
220AC, 230ACX, 260ACX, Solar Hybrid (NiMH)
265ACX (Li-Lon)
Circuit board with two white sockets 4 poles for base plate and 8 poles for electricity and loop cables.
Installed from year of construction 2010.
or with our base plate conversion kit already installed.
Board suitable only for the following base plate AM-575231601
(New base plate from year of construction 2010)
This board is also suitable for loop amplifiers .
We would like to help you a little further with these notes.
What is your LED doing on the charging station?
-
It lights up constantly green, but got the error message No loop signal. In the menu, try - Security - Pin code? Change pin code perform a new code transfer.
- Failed test. try again then test and measure (mutimeter) your loop system. AR to AL should be less than 8Ohm. Errors can occur from 10 ohms. -
It flashes green (1/1)
(Do not confuse with the double green flashing. Resistance loop between, 8-20Ohm.)
Then the loop in your lawn is 98% defective. But I have already checked that it is okay. For sure? Do a counter test and check out the charging circuit board. Create a test cable about 50cm long. Unplug the power plug (230V) from your socket. Remove the AF, AR and SK (Guide) cables from your charging station. Insert the test cable from a few cm at AR and AL (left right). Pay attention to the PINS in the charging station. (These can slide back into the charging station. Then you have no contact either!) After connecting the test cable, insert the 230V power plug (transformer) into the socket.
What is the LED doing now?
- It lights up green, then probably (99.5%) the charging station circuit board is not defective t !! Then you have to check your loop system and guide cable (SK). The value must be less than 7.0 ohms. (Multimeter. Not to be confused with KOhm (KiloOhm) or MOhm (megaOhm).
- The next green. Check the two plugs and the wiring harness again in advance. Is everything okay Then most likely the charging station board is defective. This error (defective) can occur but is rarely the case. -
The Automower & reg; does not go into its charging station. (or not always)
Then there is probably an error in the N or F Signal. First check the base plate before replacing an LS board.
The base plate (white plug with 4 pins). Two each are for the N (Near signal approx 1 meter) field and two pins for the F (Remote signal 4-8 meters) Field is responsible. You can check this base plate with a multi-meter. New base plate (rough, plastic screws, from 2010) Pin2 (white) and 3 (yellow) for F signal setpoint less than 5Ohm. N signal pin 1 (blue) and 4 (red) setpoint also below 5Ohm.
(If you still have the old base plate up to model year 2009 (smooth with iron nails), then it is best to convert it with the kit.
Kit with the latest LS board and the latest base plate as a set base plate conversion kit 2004 -2010 -SG- -
The Automower & reg; No longer charging, no charging current .
(Charging current setpoint G2,220AC approx. 1400-1800mA. 230ACX over 2500mA. 260, 265 over 3500mA)
The charging station board does NOT regulate the charging current for the Automower®! If your Automower® If the fault persists, it is often a different one, and very, very rarely, the charging station circuit board is at fault. Often it is the battery, transformer, transformer cable, corrosion on charging contacts, charging station or on the Automower®, ... -
It flashes yellow, blue or red. Then you are wrong with this article. Since the LS light in all G2 modes Only the color Green Has. If you still shine or see yellow, blue or red, you have a model G3 xxx
-
LED on the charging station is off, does not light up.
Then the charging station circuit board may be defective, but does not have to be. Very often the fault lies in the transformer cable (low voltage cable) which was often kinked, pressed or scratched. Check the transformer cable exactly over the entire length! Corrosion on the connector and pins can also be the reason. To do this, carefully check all four plugs with pins (LS, transformer, transformer cable). In the event of corrosion, only replacement will help in the long term.
The transformer itself can also be defective. To check it, you can use a multimeter to read the voltage (values on the transformer nameplate. Output! Attention AC voltage,), measure and check. We recommend that the transformer is always protected from rain and sun.
